The Day Before Tomorrow

Today was almost like spring here! So nice outside, birds chirping – lovely! Makes me long for springtime at home – just about when we should return to Virginia! We opened the windows for a little while to let some germs out and let the fresh air in. Ah, fresh air. I can’t wait to be home and see flowers in the yard and get ready for planting the flowers on my deck! Oh, how sweet it is.

We walked to the Iceberg – just because. We really didn’t have to go today – but if we didn’t, then we end up needing too much at once, so it’s a good thing to split it up a little. There were patches of bare pavement on the walkways… the rest was a slushy mess. I think I found the one slippery spot and slipped, but thank goodness, I didn’t fall!

I finished the last book I brought with me. Luckily, I think Masha has some I can borrow… otherwise I just don’t know what I’ll do at night after Mom goes to bed and I’m not yet tired! And to top it off, last night, I just could NOT sleep. I was still wide awake at 3:00 a.m…. I think I finally fell asleep at 3:30 or 4:00. It was a long night.

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY. Court at 11:00 a.m. I’m told it should last about an hour. For those on the east coast, that’s Monday between Midnight and 1:00 a.m. for you all. I assume you’ll be sleeping, but if you are not… please pray for me during that time, that I might answer the questions properly and to their satisfaction! Oh, it does make me nervous to think about it… so I’ll stop there. Hopefully I’ll have some good news to post tomorrow!

We did talk to Matthew and Dad again this morning. It’s so exciting to talk to them, even though there isn’t that much ‘new’ with any of us… just hearing their voices is great! Matthew gets to go camping with the scouts next weekend… I forgot about that. I’m sure he’s excited. He loves camping. It’s getting close to his spring break too – hopefully he’ll have a great time with Grandpa, no matter what they end up doing! I’m just jealous I won’t be there to share in that fun with them.

Can you believe Easter is only three weeks from today? I’m sad we’ll be missing that too, but of course, it’s all for a good cause, so I won’t complain. I just love coloring eggs and having our grown-up egg hunt… it’s a lot of fun every year. I can’t wait until next year as well when we can have an egg hunt for the ‘baby’!! (She'll be pretty big by then!)

That’s all until tomorrow – pray for me/us!!

My thoughts will be with you. Wow! it is only 2 1/2 hours away. I know you will do great. I see the love in your words so I'm sure the judge will see it during your session. I'm glad it is warming up there!

I will say a prayer before I go to bed, we know God is in control and you are meant to have this baby, so even if you feel like you will mess up the answer, she will still be yours, because it is in God's will.
